No Days Off

“OHoops N.D.O. at St. Mary Magdalen today was awesome – we were able to divide our players into different groups and elevate each level of play! Warming up with ball-handling (both stationary and dynamic) was major to get these players focused on control and advancing their game. Getting shots up on one end, weaving through chairs and obstacles on the other, then working on footwork, attacking the basket and finishing on the other! What a day at the gym today – lot of energy, great focus and players WANTING to get better! It’s always great to be apart of growth, development and taking players to another level. Keep working hard, remember – if you want to be successful, you have to push beyond the norm – we do not take days off, allowing you to have no excuses in reaching for your goal. Stay motivated, stay positive, stay in the game.”

“OHoops NoDaysOff Sunday was off the charts. A dedicated middle school turnout is showing promise with the players sticking to it, learning new traits in the game of basketball, stepping up their fundamentals and pushing forward to more advanced skills. Ball-handling was the main focus this past Sunday as our players certainly got stronger with the ball and their arms wore out as they pushed through the muscle fatiguing drills.
High school was intense. Had some stand out players in Matt Pannagio and Shannon Cranshaw from Father Lopez, Haleem Brown from Apopka, James Mclain from Winter Park, Trent Stokes (graduate from Lake Brantley), Marc Epstein (Lake Highland) and several other hard working players. It was a blast working with these athletes as you can absolutely see their passion with every drill, every shot and every step on the court.
Great workout today, OHoopers.”

“NoDaysOff put together an player enhanced workout, focusing on intense ball-handling, proper footwork with shooting as well as moves on the dribble, attacking the basket and finishing strong and continuous repetitions. Having 16 middle school OHoopers and 17 high school athletes, we certainly made sure they gained all that they could out of the workout. Finishing the day, we managed to maintain a competitive environment for the players to compete, 3on3 with 5 teams battling for the win. It was not only a lot of work for the ballers, but throughout the day, they had a lot of fun and got better at the same time.”
